Tuesday Morning Motivation
Whew! I have to say, after a long weekend and a couple of weeks that were just not “routine” for me, I’m looking forward to a little more routine this week with my meals. I know that the past couple of weeks have included fewer workouts, poor food choices, and more booze than typical for me so this week I am going to try to aim for more fruits and vegetables, limited junk, and hopefully some decent workouts. I say hopefully because of course my gym is closed for the week for “maintenance”. Boo! I know that I could easily use that as an excuse but I’m already thinking of ways to get in good workouts without the gym.
Summer is over, school has started again, and I’m ready for a fresh start this week. I saw these tips on Pinterest last night and thought they were great ideas.
Whether you’re “starting fresh” or just continuing on with your healthy habits, these are all great tips to keep you on track (or get you back there). I especially love the one about not letting your bad week turn into a bad month. That so easily happens and all of a sudden it’s no longer a slip, but a fall off of a cliff and it’s much harder to come back from that! :)
So whether it’s been a bad weekend, week, month, or summer, take it one day at a time and get back to where you want to be…healthy and fit!
